The basics
Set in the US, the story revolves around the lives of a broken family, living in Panama City, Florida.
Tabasum (Uzma Gilani), the matriarch of the family, has severe control issues, manifested because of her fears and insecurities. As a result, she is estranged from her children, Shams (Junaid Khan) and Paimaan (Sanam Saeed).
Shams eventually leaves the house when Tabassum remarries after her husband’s death. Later, he takes Paiman away from their mother as well, only to realise that Paiman is now rebellious enough to take the reins in her own hands and is ready to make her own decisions.
Why Firaaq is worth watching
A complex story of love, relations and responsibilities, Firaaq goes just a few steps further in portraying how family members play an important role in making or breaking a house.
Growing up with such a cantankerous mother was bound to have an impact on Shams and Paimaan's personalities. While Shams has anger issues, which manifest in his interactions with his wife, Paiman grows up to become a very reserved woman. Her deadpan voice and impassive face are the result of years of emotional abuse.
With many families breaking down emotionally and psychologically, Firaaq offers a window for viewers to examine the reasons behind such trauma – and the consequences that follow.

Why Jackson Heights is worth watching
Jackson Heights is a fresh take on the lives of South Asians migrating to the US – an aspect that greatly concerns many middle class and upper-middle-class Pakistanis.
Bhatti’s difficult life is a reminder to all those who fantasize about living abroad. Living in the US because of his marriage to an American woman, he represents the plight of many who get married just for the sake of staying on in the US.
Salma and Michele, the lead female characters in the drama, project an image of strong, independent women, who are ready to take up challenges. They show a different side of Pakistani women, who are not meek and submissive.
Though a developing story, Jackson Heights looks promising and realistically captures the lives of South Asian immigrants.

The basics
Chup Raho is the story of Rameen (Sajal Ali), a woman who is subjected to sexual abuse by her brother-in-law (sister's husband), Numair (Jibran Syed). In an attempt to save her sister Manal’s (Arjumand Rahim) marriage and her own "reputation", Rameen is forced to bear Numair's vile acts in silence.
Why Chup Raho is worth watching
Silence paves way for sex offenders
The drama tackles a taboo topic that – as depicted in the show – is never discussed in society, covered up, hidden or ignored, especially when family members are involved.
The reason why Rameen doesn’t confide in her husband, Azar (also Numair's cousin, played by Feroz Khan) or her sister Manal is that in Pakistan, women are pressurised to not speak up against such injustice and are expected to quietly endure everything, including sexual advances and attacks.
Staying true to life, Rameen does the same, and when she does eventually try to tell her husband, he gently reminds her that she is wehmi (paranoid).
The drama also depicts the monstrosity of the perpetrator, as they prey on a victim and casually slip away due to the very fact that they are a close relative.
What is also interesting to watch is Numair’s relationship dynamics with his own young daughter, Naila. Numair is shown to be extremely protective of Naila and e.g. is deeply offended when Manal and Azar pray for his daughter to be 'blessed' with a husband like her father.
Chup Raho aims to shed light and drive dialogue around this dark aspect of society, and kudos to the team for such an effort.

Zara Hidayatullah and Maleeha Sami were two close friends and they both are medical students. Zara belongs to a lower-middle-class family while Maleeha comes from an upper class household. but despite of their class difference they both share an unbreakable bond.
Maleeha was always helpfull to zara whether its their personal household issue or its their college fees or problem on the other hand zara was always gratefull to maleeha and loves to write college notes for her. maleeha brother junaid who lives abroad was attracted to zara and propose her for marriage. maleeha saw a gold chain with pendant in his suitcase, she thought that her brother is going to suprise her on her birthday by giving this as gift . after few days she saw the same chain and pendent in zara neck and ask her, how zara get this. zara got hesitates in answering maleeha so she lie to her that her sister has given this her.
the whole incident makes maleeha to think as zara is cheating her, and she loved junnaid for his money. Their parents have no objection to the union, but it comes as ashock to Maleeha. She thought that Zara was trapping her brother who is eligible in all means to live a better life. Maleeha's cousin, and sister-in-law Fiza (Sanam Saeed), also Zara and Maleeha's class fellow, started manipulating her against Zara. Meanwhile, Zara's family found the perfect suitor for her older sister Aasma (Nimra Bucha) . on the day before wedding take place, zara father was areested by police and they have to submit 50,000 rupees to get bailed. zara ask helps for maleeha but maleeha take this as chance. she ask for a promise that she will give her money but she have to promise that she wont marry junaid. so in turn zara tells junnaid and his family by saying that she is committed to one of her cousins.
Meanwhile, Fiza starts to develop feelings for Junaid. When Junaid refuses, Fiza made life miserable for Maleeha and her husband Yasir (Fiasal Shah) who is also Fiza's brother. Zara in the meanwhile receives a 100% scholarship, and shifts to Glasgow for her further education. Moving to UK after a short period of time, Zara returns Maleeha every single penny which Maleeha had spent on her ever in the seven years of their friendship.
Seven years later, a professionally successful Zara reconnects with Junaid who is unhappily married to Fiza. Junaid discovers that Zara lied of her engagement, and was single all along. He confronts Maleeha and decides to divorce Fiza. Yasir threatens Maleeha of their own divorce if her Junaid abandons Fiza. Maleeha visits Zara to apologize for what she made her do. Zara who had no intentions of marrying Junaid tells Maleeha how deeply she loved him, and how unfair Maleeha had been. Maleeha regrets her awful behavior and realizes that she had lost two important people of her life. Thus she tells Junaid the truth and leaves Yasir on her own. Zara moves back to UK rejecting Junaid but saying it would be impossible for her to forget the memories which she made with him.
A year later, Maleeha calls a happily married Zara to wish her birthday. When her husband (Humayu saeed) asks who the caller was, Zara talks of her as an old class mate and not her once best friend symbolizing she had moved on for better.

Anaa drama start with love story of daneel and haris, they are great grand children of same family but from different grand parents. They both love each other but haris' father was against their relationship. So he creates misunderstanding between them. Daneel gets so angry with haris , so that she marriages to local politician , double of his age and also a widower. Daneel husband has done this marriage to get more strong political influence.
On the other hand haris is also getting married to his late fufi 's daughter rania.
Haris father get ready for this as he wants that rania's brother would marry to his daughter (haris's sister).
But rania brother altamash is interested in daneel's fuffi's daughter name izaa. Iza is simple girl, full of patience and quite satisfied with her father's low status than rest of the family.
Iza thinks as altamash is very rich and affluent person, so he is quite modern , fashionable and high status oriented person. This things Iza doesnot like about altamash.
Altamash doesnot clearly express his love to izaa or anyone but he feels very good in izaa company as Iza not runs for status.
Iza also likes altamash, but she think as altamash is status oriented arrogant person so she always tries to maintains distance with him.
But destiny always tries to make them both comes closer to each other. Sometime altamash advised a job for Iza, and sometime Iza meets altmash as his bank job require to do so.
Iza always tries to fight with altamash so that altmash maintains distance from her, but these little fights are bringing them more closer to each other.
On the other side, rania's in law creates a pressure upon rania to make his brother agreed upon marring haris's sister but altamash clearly rejects their proposal.
While haris fathers hates Izza parents as in past, haris uncle was in love with Iza's mother in their youth but after rejection he commit suicide. So he always blame daneel , and Iza's mother for his brother's death. He gets more upset on hearing that altamash is getting closer to Iza.
On the other hand , daneel was not happy with her husband, she Still love haris. Yet she tries to become a good wife but she failed because his husband who is also politician has married to daneel just because to get more positive status in politics.
one day while it was a party at daneel,s husband home, daneel read a romantic poetry for haris and clearly tell his husband that she cant live without haris and she need divorce. her husband who was a politician , get angry upon hearing that and clearly rufuse to give divorce to daneel. he put all household work on daneel so that daneel get tired or forgot haris.
now daneel is doing all household work from day to night but she clearly say that she will always love haris. while on the other hand altmash get engaged to haris siter, in order to help her in studies. but later it reveals that haris's sister has lie to him of studying, she actually want to get married. so altmash finally broke the engagement and go to an unknown place so that no one can contact her.
draam is still on air and going on .
reviews: drama is really an interesting one. every character is fully justified with his role. yet i dont know why altamash don't like daneel and his behavior but in reallity altamsh does not really bother about any person . drama is intersting and worth of watching.

Ranjha ranjha kardi is a story of girl belongs to lower caste called as 'chudi'. Usually most of people of this caste is think as lowered or inferior to others. They are either forced to do cleaning job of severage and waste or garbages.
This is a story of girl named noori, who doesnot like their parents job yet their parents are satisfied with their work as they feel nobody would give them any other job. Noori want to have education yet nobody encoyrage her as she is feel lower caste. But a pure heart lady who is also a religious teacher and use to teach quran to kids.
This lady is known as jannat bee. She helps and encourage noori to complete school education.
After completing 10th standred , noori express his wish to higher studies. This time jannat bee arranges a job in city and also arranges her accomdation in factory owner's home. This way noori continue to get more education.
Yet about noori 's job, its a low paying job but noori feels very happy as she is treated with well respect and equality in his job.
Sitution changes, when noori falls in love with a local shopkeeper. She express her wish to him and propose him to get maried to her. But he refused the offer saying that he also love her but his family won't accept a girl of lower class as they are from upper class.
But after sometime sitution changes , noori and her lover both get agreed to do a secret marriage and tgereafter they will settle abroad.
But sitution again takes a turn when he is blamed of theft of rs two lakh and put in jail. Noori get so disturbed so that she theft a gold necklace from his factory owner home. This led to noori spend two nights in jail.
But noori manages to convince everyone that she has not done theft. She is realesed from jail. Theafter noori family fix her marriage to a man double of his age, a father of three son and evil wicked man. Noori run away from house and reach to his lover house and ask him for mariage.
This time sahil, noori 's lover denies to marry her as he doubts on her character because she has spend two nights in jail.
Noori think of Commiting suicide but jannat bee give her suggestion to get married to a man of his known. So noori gets married to bhola, an mentaly chalenged but pure hearted, wealthy and affulent family man.
Noori intialy hates him but after sometime noori also start loving him.
Everything was going fine till she realised that it was bhola uncle nusrat who is giving wrong medicines to bhola to worsen his mental conditins. Initialy she tries to stops them.
But here another problem was waiting for noori, when sahil again contacts noori and provoke her to take divorce from bhola.
For once noori also get agreed, but this time another twist come, noori was.pregnant with bhola 's child.
Sahil again provoke her, and tell her his plan that he was provked nusrat uncle to kills bhola. And once bhola is dead , the entire property of bhola will be of noori.
Noori realised that sahil is greedy evil mind person.
So noori decides that she will protect bhola and accepts bhola from heart.
Yet there are a lot of turn and twist in the story, but drama was interesting one.
The storyline and concept was good, but in the last few episode are misplaced from the concept which is that lower caste people are also human beings and deserved to be treated with equality.
However drama is quite entertaining , it start with a Theame of lower caste people yet end with a moral lesson that truth and honesty is far above than greedy people.

Story and Review about balaa drama
Worth of watching : Intersting drama but viewers can have wrong pschological effect on themselves.
Nigar (Ushna Shah) is a selfish and cruel girl who is impaired from her leg by birth. She never lets her imperfection be an obstacle in her way instead, her father, Zafar (Sajid Hassan) who has also the same mindset as Nigar and has spoiled her because she has been lucky for him since her birth. Zafar also has a son, Junaid (Asad Siddiqui) who is not so special for him as Nigar is. Junaid has married an orphan girl Zeba. Nigar and her father both were unhappy towards zeba. They hire a person to make false calls to zeba . This creates a misunderstanding between zeba and junnaid. Zeba fails to convince junnaid that she is innocence, she get died to mental stroke due to the circumstances creates by nigaar and her father.
Nigar is in love with her cousin, Taimoor (Bilal Abbas Khan), a handsome and family-oriented man . Taimoor is living a successful life. Taimoor loves Saba (Azekah Daniel), the only daughter of his mother's friend (Ismat Zaidi). This makes her become Nigar's second target. Fortunately, she catches Saba with her boyfriend, Mateen and provokes them to elope, on the day of nikkah as she will aid them. On the other hand, she uses Mateen to make mute calls to Zeba (Ammara Chaudhary) so Junaid suspects that she is having an affair. So, as planned, Saba elopes with Mateen on the day of nikkah with an apologize note and her poor mother dies of embarrassment. Taimoor also gets badly heartbroken.
Nigaar takes advantage of this and wins taimoor's heart. She gets married to taimoor. Taimoor on the first night make this clear to nigaar that he loves his two sister and mother morethan anyone in the world.
Here nigaar pointed there next targets to her sister in law and mother in law. Her eldersister in law got serious health problem , of which nigaar was only aware of it. Her simple problem turned more complicated and got cancer. On the days of her wedding, she fell down and got died.
Thereafeter she arranges marriage of her younger sister in law to junnaid. Junnaid has losted all sense after death of zeba. He feels that every women is cheater and one day he shoot her wife.
Nigaar hides the truth that junnaid has murdered his wife, instead she conveys that her sister in law was escaping from house with his boyfried. In mean which some fight happen so she died.
Next , after death of her two daughters, taimoor mother got mad. She lost all sense of eating, cleaning or doing anything.
One day, when taimoor was out of city, nigaar cuts down her mother in law hair. Taimoor's mother got so much depressed of this so she leaves the house in midnight. She sit in bus and ask for ticket of last station. She got heart attack in bus and died there.
Taimoor search for her mother and finds her mother dead body in govt hospital with her hair cut down. He understand what happens to her mother. He accidently meet an lady doctor, who tell him that nigaar was aware of her sister in law desease. On the other hand sabaa also tell her truth . Junnaid surrender himself to police and accepts that he has murdered his wofe.
Now taimoor plays a part, he wins nigaar heart and in which nigaar tranfer all her property to him. He give wrong med8cine to nigaar due to which nigaar got mad in last and even forgot his name.

zindagi guljar hai drama review and story
worth of time: excellent drama
the starting few episodes appears to be some boring but after 5 or 6 episode it start creating interest. its a story as how a simple teacher women raise three girls and provide them complete and higher education. all the girls are well settled. the husband who has married another women so that he can have a son. while its is shown all the three daughters are highly educated and get married to good families on the other hand his son from second wife is totally a failure. he failed in school and refuse to study more.

meri guriya : meri guriya is drama which raises voice against child rape.it also encourage viewer to take an active part in safty of our daughters.
mubarak ho beti hui hai : this drama focus on women education. it says that girl child is not a burden.
cheekh : cheekh is another mind blowing drama of saba qamar. this drama shows how a simple housewife raises voice against a rape. she files FIR against her real borther in law. after that she start receving diffrent threats from her in laws. they even put many serious blame on her that she is having extramarital affairs with other man or she is greedy women.
zindagi gulzar hai: how a women raise three girsl and provide them complet and higher education. all the girls are well settled. While her husband or father of her three daughters has married another women so that he can have a son. Later its is shown all the three daughters are highly educated and find good job and position in socity on the baisi of their education. They all get married to good families on the other hand his only son from second wife is totally a failure. he failed in school and refuse to study more.
haiwaan: its a story where an old age person rapes an 12 year girl, who ws friend of his daughter. to escape from punishment he lay down the girl under his backyard. later his son express his wish to marries the elder sister of victim girl. after few years later the skull is found and his own wife admits that his husband is guilty.

Mubarak Ho Beti Hui Hei’s first half was entirely based on the true story of Faiza Iftikhar’s own mother. It was a tribute to her inspirational mother who fought against all odds to raise daughters who were empowered and enlightened. The drama serial showed what a blessing it is to have a girl child. Saima Noor played the role of Naheed who was meted out the worst treatment because she did not give birth to a son. Naheed did not let her husband or the society dictate to her, she was not a rebel but a mother who did everything she could to ensure that her daughters felt loved and needed. Naheed was one of the most strong female leads we have seen in a Pakistani drama. The writer managed to get across all the messages which she wanted to convey beautifully through characters which were inspiring as well as relatable.

Baaghi was one of those very few shows which took inspiration from the life of a social media sensation who was always the centre of attention. It was also one such drama which was promoted as a biopic and unlike many other production houses, the makers of this one did not hold back while promoting it as Qandeel Baloch’s story. However, when the drama aired, the viewers were informed that this was not Qandeel’s actual story but the writer only took inspiration from Qandeel’s life. Saba Qamar played the role of Qandeel Baloch and her entire get-up was inspired from that of Qandeel’s. Since Qandeel’s public life was witnessed by many people in the recent past therefore the viewers remembered watching a lot of what was shown in the drama either on television or on social media. The drama showed the real life of Qandeel Baloch, one which the producers claimed no one knew about. It showed how she entered the world of entertainment and the way she was used and abused by different people.

Meri Guriya’s main story is based on the recent tragic and brutal murders of several little girls and Zainab’s murder in particular. The drama shows how a psychopath murderer’s mind works and what role the victim’s family can play to ensure that the murderer does not get away with the crime. It also shows how the negligence of the authorities most often is the reason why the murderers never get caught. This drama has some of the most amazing performances. Mohsin Abbas Haider plays the role of the serial killer in the show and Sania Saeed and Sonya Hussyn shine in positive roles.

Ullu Baraye Farokht is another drama which was based on true stories. Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi was a story of lust and revenge. The drama had different tracks which showed how the love for money can destroy relationships and how men in certain rural areas of Pakistan use women to settle disputes. The widespread oppression of women was also highlighted in the drama. The characters and the story was complex and hard-hitting. Noman Ijaz played a negative role in the play, his performance was widely appreciated by critics and viewers. The drama was based on a short story written by Amna Mufti.

Very few people know that the idea for this play actually came from a real-life incident which Khalil-ur-Rehman very often used to narrate to his friends. In an interview Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar shared that while having a conversation with Humayun Saeed, Nadeem Baig and Yasir from M Group he was telling them about a college friend named Afzal who used to write love letters himself but used to tell his friends that a girl used to send him these letters. Khalil-ur-Rehman caught his friend red-handed once and that is a story he tells everyone since he finds it really amusing. Yasir suggested that he should write a script based on this incident. Initially Khalil-ur-Rehman said that was not possible since this was just a short incident and nothing more. Later on, on the insistence of Yasir, Khalil-ur-Rehman finally penned the script down. He also shared in an interview that once he was done writing the script, he called his friend Afzal and told him that he was going to be popular not knowing that the drama in fact was going to be a massive hit!
story: afjal who start receving love letter from a girl . he was very happy . later his family also come to know that he is receiving love letters. the family enquires about the girl but girl refused that she has not written any love letter and she also stated that she doesnot love afjal. later its revealed that it was afzal who himself was writing letters to himself on behalf of girl . afzal was and is in love with that girl. sana or the girl everytime refused that she loves afzal but she was in love of afzal yet not accepting it just for sake of her ego. finaly she accepts and make call to afzal to express his love. but unfortunately till that time afzal got shoot with bulltes by mafia don. he was dying at the time he received the call and sana says "pyare afzal". afzal dies after listing the word "pyare afzal"

Marham drama Story and Review
value for time: worth watching
Marham is story father and daughter. A father Noman ijaaj who conditionlessly loves her daughter , while the daughter hates his presence in his life because she was raised by her mother alone from his birth to next 20 years. She has not even seen his father from the day she born.
While father was having a seperate family, another wife and son.
Destiny make them all force to live under one roof. So evenly his first and second wife start living under one roof along with his son and daughter.
His daughter still hates her father , their family , while his son hates his step mother and step sister.
Father never shows his love for her daughter, but his every action is aimed to make her happy and comfortable in her new home.
Drama is being on aired.
Noman ijaj has done a great performance. While all pther actors have also justify their job.
Story and direction is good. As far now we have seen very good notes from drama.
I feel drama and story , both deserve a five star rating.
The only loophole is that its being on aired on bol network. Bol netwrk is not favorite option of tv drama viewers , so viewers may find confusion as the drama is good or just wastage of time.
But from my view piont drama is really good.
